There’s possibly no greater honor as a photographer than another photographer hiring you to take their family pictures. I was thrilled when this local Atlanta area photographer contacted me to do her photos, but I can’t say I wasn’t feeling the pressure ;) No matter how confident I am with clients, I can’t say I didn’t have a bit of stage fright when capturing this family!
We live fairly far apart, so we chose to do a central location. I had some issues when scouting, but we settled on a downtown area followed by a park.
Olivia and Brooks are some of the cutest, aren’t they? Olivia’s cheeks are to die for, and Brooks’ words throughout the session of his adoration for Mickey Mouse were too sweet. He took a bit of coaxing with gummy bears, but he gave us some smiles. Olivia acted as if she had just finished up modeling school as most of the little girls do during their photo sessions. When asked what she wanted to be when she grows up, her response was a princess. Seems she already is! :)
Though I’m partial to gorgeous sunset photos, we worked on a fairly cloudy day just prior to a long and heavy rain, courtesy of tropical storm Karen. Sometimes change is nice, and I LOVE the photo of mom & dad together.
