Nolan, 9 Days – Sneak Peek {Canton, Marietta, Atlanta Newborn Photography}

OH. MY. GOSH. Did this just happen? Yes, it did! Nolan was SO adorable! I definitely had some baby fever while snuggling with him during his session. I see a lot of newborns, and of course ALL of them are precious, but Nolan’s chunkiness and his beautiful skin just got me! Nolan’s mommy was gifted his newborn session from a VERY loyal client & friend of mine.

This sleigh is so perfect for all of my Christmas newborns. I was really concerned about its size when it arrived. It barely looked big enough to hold a puppy, much less an 8-lb. newborn baby! But, I was surprised…it worked really well, and it was the perfect size…just big enough for me to pose him just right :)

So glad I got to photograph this sweet baby. I absolutely adore the parent shots as well <333

Zoey, 7 WEEKS New! {Smyrna, Marietta, Atlanta Newborn Photographer}

Oh, goodness! Adorable Zoey was only a couple days shy of 7 WEEKS old, and I am surprised that we got these shots. I wasn’t too optimistic! It did take a while, but we got some cute shots, and I think that’s all her parents could have hoped for. We may have ended up with less shots than a normal “newborn” session, but we were still able to achieve some, and I personally think the shot of her with her parents is PRICELESS! I would die to go back and have pix of my babies as newborns and me like that!

So glad that we were able to capture some traditional newborn shots of sweet Zoey. She was better than I expected.

Stella- Sneak Peak Lifestyle Pet Session {Marietta, Buckhead, Atlanta pet photographer}

I photographed this sweet girl in her “big sister’s” beautiful room. She was such a joy to be around and seemed to love the camera! Sometimes German Shepherds can be a little shy around new people but Stella and I became buddies right away. Stella’s “mom” and “dad” are both doctors and were both on call, so luckily their nanny was available to hang out with Stella and me for the session. More pics of this stunning girl will come soon!

Caden Sneak Peek {Stone Mountain, Marietta, Atlanta Newborn Photographer}

Just look at this little peanut! Caden was three weeks early and was only a little over 5 pounds when he was born. He was SO tiny. But don’t let that fool you. Caden was FIESTY! :) I have to say that Caden was one of the most fiesty newborns I have ever worked with, but we still completed the session and still got great pix :) Caden was about as hungry as a hippo and just had to have his paci in his mouth nearly the entire time. It seemed like his session took forever, but it was really only about 3 or 3.5 hours. Mom, grandma, and I got some good laughs during the the Coke setup, because he did NOT want to keep those legs closed and kept sticking his left leg over the crate. Every time I put it back, just when I would try to step back to take a picture, he’d move again. Sometimes you can get mom to help hold it still and combine two images into one, but Caden was so touchy that I was afraid doing that may wake him permanently. Luckily, we got the shot. Caden was adorable, and I think his mommy is in for a ride with him as he grows :) Lol!

Birnbaum Family Sneak Peek {Sandy Springs, Marietta, Atlanta Family Photographer}

I photographed this family’s son’s cake smash session a week ago, and we went out yesterday evening to Piedmont Park — one of my favorite locations — to do some family shots. I was so excited when I saw them get out of the car. They couldn’t have been more perfectly dressed, especially their adorable girls! They wore my favorite brand for little girls — Matilda Jane! Matilda Jane clothes are such a great way to build the family’s wardrobe for family sessions. The mix of colors and patterns allows you to easily coordinate everyone else based on just one outfit, and the whimsical style really just looks great in family pictures, so if you have a little girl, consider Matilda Jane or a similar line for your family session or get inspired and build your own outfits. :)

These girls were so much fun, and I didn’t even have to do a head swap on that pic of the entire family. We had gorgeous light for a few minutes there (sadly, it doesn’t ever last long enough, especially as we head towards winter!).

Can’t wait to edit the rest of this beautiful family!
